My ideal work

Right, What can i say?. Since i decided start study vet, i always wanted to work with wild and exotic animals, it´s the only thing i want to work with.
Why this? well it´s something a little childish maybe, but think that in this area i could help the animals. Beacause, the clinical it´s really full of persons, so the dogs and cats don´t need my help, bue what about the other animals, like, i don´t know furrets, turtles, etc. The need a lot of specialist. And maybe i can be one of them.
The truth is this, i´m not interested in the money i could make, and it would be great being my own boss... but it doesn´t matters to much.

My favorite subject

For now, i belive my favorite subject is histology. It´s weard, beacuse before i went to university i always wanted anatomy, but when i get inside , i don´t know, a lot of things changes. First, i never hear before about histology, now i know histology it´s like a line o anatomy, but it´s like microscopic anatomy.

I love the practicals, beause we went to the laboratoy and, we used the microscope to see diferents things (like mesoderm, tissues, etc). And i don´t getr slept!, well... almost... but thats it´s other story :D.

And it´s the subject where i learn more, and i almost never forget anithing!! it´s awesome.

Well, i don´t know what else to write, so.... we see in the next post

The cocdrile hunter

Of course, I’m talking about Steve Irwin. He was born in February 22, 1962 in Australia. He was a amazing person, with his documentary (the crocodile hunter). His parents directed a small zoo (Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park) and in this place he learn to leave with crocodiles.
 
In 1991 he started to direct the zoo, and here he met his future wife, Terri Raines. In 1992 their married.

In 2002 he films his first movie: “The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course”.

Irwin also protagonist another documental like “The Croc Files” and “The Crocodile Hunter Diaries”.

On 4 September 2006, Irwin was fatally pierced in the chest by a stingray spine while snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, at Batt Reef, which is located off the coast of Port Douglas in north Queensland. The groups were filming a documental for his child, but a stingray's barb went up and put a hole into his heart, and he died a few minutes later.

Well, I admire this person because he do all the things that I want to do. I really hope to be like him. But I’m think I’m going to be more careful.

Vet: the best career for ever and ever!!

I don`t remember when i thought to become a vet, just i know i want to be a vet since i have memory.
When i was 17 or 18 years old, i don`t remember. I had a vocational crisis, with kinesiology. But then i prefer vet for all the others careers. But I really don`t know which university to choose, just I knew I want a public university. So, then i choose universidad de chile because i thought this is the best university with my career.
Before i took the PSU i came to the universidad de chile and i took a tour for the faculty, and i fell in love (to the faculty of course). I don`t think i want to change my mind.

My name is Javier Osorio. I`m studying vet in Universidad de chile. It`s my first year in college. Well, i`m 19 years old, and i like a lots of things,i like sports, listening to music,going to the cinema (i love it). I`m not good with technology and i think this blog it`s so difficult!, i hope i could dominate this thing.
